Welcome to our first grade enrichment site. Visit this site often to find out what we are working on during enrichment times such as SPARK, Science Lab, Writing Lab, Book Clubs, and Math Extension.  

Social Studies Lab

We will be researching different historical figures.  Later, we will build a bottle buddy character to go with our research.  These characters will go into a classroom museum in May. 

SPARK

We are working on attributes and patterns.

Writing Lab

We are working on opinion writing.  This week we will focus on making their writing stronger by adding details.

Math Extension

We are working creating a children's museum out of shapes on a poster.

Book Clubs

We will be working on non-fiction inquiry!  This includes questioning and research!
